“Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in all the earth.” – Psalm 46:10
How amazing that the writer of Psalm 46 can tell his hearers to “be still” in the presence of a God who can melt the earth with His voice, bring desolations upon the earth, make wars cease, break bows, shatter spears, and burn shields among many other awesome works! How is this possible?
The LORD Almighty is with them.
How much more incredible is it that we, who were once dead in our sins and destined to face the wrath of the very same God, can now stand in His presence through the blood of His Son, can now be at peace with Him, can now come before Him and be still?
Come join us as we celebrate this glorious truth with all our creative entirety, pour out our love and gratitude to Him in heartfelt praise, and take time out of our busy lives to come before Him and be still.

Dear friend who has been blessed by God’s work through the RICE movement,
I’m writing to you because I am genuinely excited about what God might do in just over 10 days from now.
The second ever RICE Regenerate happens on the evening of Saturday December 5 and it will be an incredible night. I simply cannot wait to see what God might do.
I have reason to expect great things, not just because we should expect great things from a great God, but because if last year was anything to go by then why not again!?
Honestly, last year’s RICE Regenerate was one of the most special nights of my life.
That’s big call I just made but it really was one of those life changing nights for me. God worked in me that night by His Spirit as the word was preached, in such a way, that the ripples from that night are still reverberating through into my walk with God today.
I’m praying that God does something similar again in the hearts of everyone who comes through the doors on December 5. I’m literally praying that *now.* (feel free to join in!)
Of course, it’s just one night and that won’t change everything, but I tell you what it might do? It might give you just a small taste, a little whetting of the appetite, of what it might look like for a generation to unite around Jesus and with one voice call out on God to show us his might. And so I’m writing to urge you to come along.
I can’t wait to sing with you, to pray with you and to hear Al Stewart passionately call on us to treasure Jesus in a world where so many things compete to be our ‘treasure.’ Come along and let’s refocus.
You know, I have been praying that God might pour out His Spirit and bring revival to our city and beyond. Church history tells us that often the pre-cursor to God doing this kind of thing, is young people gathering, praying, repenting of sin, treasuring Jesus and being renewed and refreshed in their worship of Jesus.
So here’s an idea. Ready?
How about a bunch of young people gather on Saturday Dec 5, pray, repent, treasure Jesus and be renewed… and leave the rest to God?
Are you in?
If so – it would be so wonderful if you could help the Regenerate team out by letting them know you are coming by buying your ticket now.
And while you are deciding about whether you should give up a Saturday night for this, you have to check out this video. If you missed it last year, (or just want to re-live that incredible night) watch this video, and look out for three things:
1) the joy on people’s faces as they unite around Jesus (watched it 3 times now and keeps bringing me to tears)
2) the different ways people chose to respond to the word as they prayed and then (when they were ready) chose which response room to go to
3) watch to the end and you be rewarded by hearing a room full of young people unite with Christians throughout history and throughout the world as they say an ancient creed with unrivalled enthusiasm!
P.S. The first ever weekend away for the whole RICE movement is the new SURGE conference! Rego’s just opened – you’ve got to check this out www.surgeconference.org.au
